On Saturday July 23 Aberdeen International Airport and charity partner We Too held a relaxed tour of the terminal.
The event was part of We Too's summer programme allowing families to introduce their children with additional support to the airport in a relaxed manner.
Families were able to see the check in and security process and spend some time with our award winning Canine Crew at the airport.
We Too is a customer driven organisation empowering families of children with disabilities, providing a free, quarterly “What’s On” Guide for families with ASN children, peer support, a monthly children’s club and a school holiday programme as well as bespoke ASN/Customer Service Training to organisations and six-week parent/carer and sibling courses.
We have worked with many families in recent years to ensure that their journey through the airport goes smoothly. We have organised familiarisation visits of the airport in advance of passengers actual date of travel.
Kayleigh's Wee Stars and We Too were appointed Aberdeen International Airport's charity partners following a staff vote earlier this year.
